This system update is for the Marco wireless communicator.  The system update will not damage your Marco if you have already installed it, and install it again, or try to install it on a Marco other than version 1.0.2. The system update will not install on an Apple MessagePad or other Newton device.

It is strongly recommended that users synchronize their Marco communicator with the Newton Connection Kit or back up to a storage card (PCMCIA card) before installing any system update.

This update improves overall performance by reducing the need for system resets and by making more efficient use of system memory.  This system update brings the product up to 1.0.3 type operation.
