This represents a useful subset of English and Spanish vocabularies. You may encounter words and phrases that are not part of AMIGO’s full dictionary. For this reason, AMIGO has the capability to create a custom dictionary. In AMIGO’s custom dictionary you can enter words or phrases and their translations. These custom words and phrases are stored in AMIGO’s custom dictionary memory and remain until they are explicity deleted. When you enter a word or phrase or the main view to be translated, the custom dictionary is consulted first. If the word or phrase is found in the custom dictionary, then the translation contained in the custom dictionary is used for the translation. The custom dictionary view is shown on the next page.
