Installation - Installing Bee-one

  1. The contents of the folder Install in the System Folder must be installed in the Extensions folder inside the System Folder of your desktop computer.
    • Select the contents of the folder.
    • Drag the selected items onto the System Folder of your desktop computer. These files will be automatically placed in the Extensions folder inside your System Folder. Do not install these items if your computer informs you that you have more recent versions of them already installed.
  2. The contents of the folder Install on the Newton must be installed onto the Newton PDA using the Newton Package Installer application
    • Connect the Newton PDA to your computer, using a serial cable.
    • Select the contents of the folder Install on the Newton and drag it onto the Newton Package Installer icon.
    • Tap Extras, Connection, and then Connect.
  3. Place a copy of the Mac4DX folder in the same folder as the structure of your database (see the sample in the Sample Database folder) or, if your structure already has a Mac4DX folder, place a copy of the Bee-one 4DX file inside your Mac4DX folder.


NOTE: Bee-one Mover must be installed on a card. It is recommended to install Bee-one Run-Time in the internal memory if you want to be able to print records without the memory card being present.The other modules may be installed on a card.

UPDATE: Deactivate your applications with Bee-one, then download the new versions and then reactivate your applications.
